What is flotilla sailing?

Flotilla sailing means that you sail with a fleet (several yachts) of sailing yachts from port to port. Usually there will be a maximum of around ten sailing yachts which makes it is possible to visit the beautiful small harbors. Each yacht sails for itself, and in the evening you will meet again in the agreed port or bay. Here you can explore the harbor town together or enjoy a barbecue all together on the beach.

This makes flotilla sailing a very social and fun way of sailing so that you will meet many new people. In addition to getting to know new people, you will also get to know new waters. There will always be an accompanying yacht in the flotilla with an experienced skipper. Are you not an experienced sailor and would you like to learn? You can choose to sail on the accompanying yacht. If you have any questions or problems on your own yacht, you can always reach the experienced skipper via VHF. The sailing route, daily schedule and weather forecast will be discussed every morning. For more information you can contact us via our contact form or by calling +31 (0)50 8200 200.
