How do I charter without deposit risk?

How do I charter without deposit risk?

The deposit when chartering a yacht can easily amount to €2,000, €3,000 or more. With the Tubber Deposit Guarantee you cover this risk, so you can enjoy your sailing holiday with complete peace of mind.

What is the Tubber Deposit Guarantee?

With the Tubber Deposit Guarantee you can get up to €3,000 reimbursed if your deposit is withheld due to damage during your charter. All Tubber yachts are fully insured, but for damages within the owner's excess, the deposit can be (partially) withheld. The Deposit Guarantee covers exactly that risk.

Covered are among others:

  • Damage caused by the qualified skipper
  • Damage to sails, winches, gelcoat or dinghy including outboard motor
  • Loss or damage due to fire, theft or vandalism
  • Towing costs as a result of covered damage

Damage during a charter can always happen unexpectedly. With the Tubber Deposit Guarantee you are financially protected and avoid lengthy disputes afterwards.

How to add it?

Go to your booking page and add the Deposit Guarantee. You can do this up to 1 day before departure, even a last-minute decision is possible. After departure it can no longer be added.

Valid for:

  • Bareboat charters
  • Bareboat charters with skipper
