Checking In and Out on the Boat

Are you excited about your upcoming sailing trip with us? We often receive questions about check-in times, so here’s how to check in early or arrive late.

Standard Check-In and Check-Out

Our boat rentals typically run from Saturday to Saturday. Check-in is usually available from 5:00 PM to allow for cleaning and paperwork. You must check out by 9:00 AM on the return day, unless you’ve arranged a different time with the rental company. Please ensure the boat is refuelled and the cleaning fees are paid.

Early Check-In

If you arrive early, there’s sometimes an option for early check-in, depending on whether the boat is ready and undamaged from the previous renter. If you’ve booked an early check-in, it’s generally possible, but not guaranteed. Additional costs typically range between 10% and 20% of the rental fee. You can request this by email or phone at the last minute.

Contact the base manager or call us for early arrivals to see if it’s possible.

Delayed or Late Arrival

If you arrive late, please let us know. In case of travel delays, call the base manager. If unreachable, you can contact us 24/7. Often, the boat is ready, and you can stay overnight, with the check-in happening the following day. Sometimes, boat owners may charge extra for Sunday check-ins, but it’s often free, so don’t worry!

Returning on Friday Evening

In the Mediterranean, it’s common to return to the harbor on Friday evening. A diver will inspect the boat, and technical and financial check-outs will be conducted. You can still sleep on the boat that night.
