Do I have to pay a deposit?

After the acceptance of the rented ship, the deposit has to be paid. The owner/renter of the yacht has insurance for the ship. The insurance has a deductible. The amount of deductible is the amount you pay as a deposit, and thus the maximum amount you could lose. If you cause minor damage that's lower than the deposit, the owner/renter won't involve insurance but the damage amount will be deducted from your deposit. The deposit can be paid in cash, but is preferred to be paid by credit card. The amount will only be deducted if there is something going on. The owner/renter will contact your credit card company to verify if you have sufficient balance. Make sure your balance has the amount of the deposit. Without the deposit you will not get to use the ship!
